Egg Thaw Cycles

Frozen donor and autologous oocytes are thawed in the same type of cycle with Artisan: Egg Thaw.  From the Egg Thaw cycle, the clinic will set up a fertilize and freeze all cycle with frozen egg or an egg thaw with a transfer.

Egg Thaw With a Transfer

Access the cycle from the Surgical Grid or from the patient chart under ART Treatment Cycles by clicking on the cycle.

Under the Cycle Creator tab in the cycle, you will find the following:

1. Will a transfer occur in this cycle: Yes

2. Stimulation start date

3. Date of egg thaw

4. Time of egg thaw

5. Transfer date and time

6. Provider

7. Was a transfer attempted: Yes

8. Was the cycle cancelled: Yes or No

The indicator for a transfer in the cycle and stimulation start date is filled out by the patient’s clinic.  The lab can enter the egg thaw date and time and transfer date and time.

Egg Thaw Without a Transfer

Access the cycle from the Surgical Grid or the patient chart under ART Treatment Cycles by clicking on the cycle.

You will find the following under the Cycle Creator tab in the cycle: 

1. Will a transfer occur in this cycle: No

2. Date of egg thaw

3. Time of egg thaw

4. Provider

5. Was a transfer attempted: No

6. Was the cycle cancelled: Yes or No

This indicator for a transfer in the cycle is filled out by the clinic.  The egg thaw date and time can be filled out by the lab.
